Top Keto Diet Cooking Ingredients and Supplements
When on a Ketogenic diet, the first thing you must do when buying anything is to check the nutritional facts on the back of the product. Avoid anything that is high in carbs, do not believe labels like ‘sugar free’ as there are many different types of sugars and these labels have pretty much devolved into a marketing ploy at this point. Today we’re going to take a look at a bunch of products that pack a serious punch in the awesome department! These products are all Keto friendly but please remember, staying within your macros are of the utmost importance no matter what food you eat.
I have really come to rely on Urban Platter and their awesome range of products. Here are some of our favourite products.
Uses: Keto bread, Keto pizza, muffins, puddings, sweets, cookies! Typically, you can substitute this in any dish that requires regular flour.
Uses: Great for garnishing sandwiches, zoodles, keto pizza and dare I say a slight sprinkling on keto ice cream perhaps?
Uses: Flavor loaded, great for use in broths, stews and soups!
Uses: Keto breakfast cereal! Soak overnight and enjoy. Also makes for a great pudding.
Uses: Works as a great sugar substitute similar to how Stevia works. However, Erythritol does work better with cold desserts than something like hot tea.
Yep, that’s right. Chocolate. On a diet. Who would have thought that’s possible? Please don’t go over-board with these, one or two cubes every once in a while to combat your chocolate cravings is perfectly OK.
Featured here are Zevic “Stevia” chocolates – I don’t see Stevia in their list of ingredients but I do see Erythritol which is fantastic.
Uses: An absolute lifesaver when you’re craving a sweet dessert. Great for adding to Keto Fat Bombs.
Uses: Great for any kind of Keto dessert!
